Mela Koehler (1885 – 1960) was a was an Austrian painter, graphic artist, illustrator. Mela was trained at the art school Höhenberg, and then studied at the School of Applied Arts under the guidance of Koloman Moser and Berthold Löffler. After leaving the School of Applied Arts in Höhenberg, she worked as a freelance artist and frequently collaborated with the Wiener Werkstätte on its postcard series.
